I am fascinated by using simple geometric pattern as repetitive objects to create a stage of meditation, empathy, synaesthesia between artist and viewer. The repetitive pattern is originally derived from abstracting Chinese character base on the knowledge of five levels of increasing complexity in the Chinese script. And it became a motif in my artwork as process representations, the most basic units, even abstracted anthropomorphic objects.

Drawing pattern repetitively within some abstract shapes on a two-dimensional surface, layer by layer as a way of meditating process which transforms the original canvas to a container with dense of time and effort inside. By seeing the mindfulness mark and let the eye slight experience the repetition which can offer a chance for the spectator to adopt the emotion in artwork. Making three-dimensional installation repetitively using a shape or a kind of material which might arouse viewers to think about this kind of emphasized object and shapes. They can experience the artwork by ways of interaction: touching, walk through, step on, lying down, etc. The 2D mark turn to be 3D installation not only enhance their volume but also become more effective. They transform the exhibition space to a place of processing contemplation, to think about how the simplest structure depicts rich emotions, how these basic elements produce social, life perspective.
